Shipping Policy

1. Delivery Areas

LUMINA TRADE delivers to addresses throughout Australia, including metropolitan and regional areas. Some remote locations may incur additional delivery charges or extended delivery times.

We currently do not offer international shipping. All orders must be delivered to an Australian address.

Delivery times are estimates only and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location and external factors such as weather conditions and public holidays.

3. Large Item Delivery

Large items such as refrigerators, washing machines, televisions over 55 inches, and air conditioners require special delivery arrangements. For these items:

  • Delivery is to ground floor only unless premium delivery is selected
  • Our delivery team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery window
  • Someone over 18 years of age must be present to accept delivery
  • Please ensure there is clear access to the delivery location
  • Measure doorways and pathways to ensure the item will fit

Premium Delivery Services

  • Room of Choice Delivery: Delivery to your preferred room (additional fee applies)
  • Installation: Professional installation available for select products
  • Old Appliance Removal: We can remove your old appliance for recycling

4. Delivery Process

Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order details and estimated delivery timeframe.

Dispatch Notification

When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Delivery Day

For large items, our delivery team will contact you to confirm a delivery window. For smaller items, the courier will attempt delivery during business hours. If you are not home, they may leave the item in a safe place or leave a card for redelivery.

5. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on:

  • The size and weight of your order
  • Your delivery location
  • The delivery option you select

The exact delivery charge will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

6. Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • No one available to accept delivery
  • Incorrect address provided
  • Access issues at the delivery location
  • Refusal of delivery

Additional delivery charges may apply for redelivery attempts. Items that cannot be delivered after multiple attempts will be returned to our warehouse, and you will be contacted to arrange alternative delivery or a refund (less delivery costs).

7. Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect your delivery upon receipt. If you notice any damage to the packaging or the product:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Take photos of the damage
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may affect your ability to claim for damaged goods.

8. Tracking Your Order

You can track your order by:

  • Using the tracking link in your dispatch email
  • Logging into your account on our website
  • Contacting our customer service team

9. Click & Collect

Click & Collect allows you to order online and pick up from our store location:

Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

You will receive an email when your order is ready for collection. Please bring photo ID and your order confirmation when collecting your order.

10. Public Holidays

Please note that deliveries are not made on public holidays. During peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, and major sales events, delivery times may be longer than usual. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment.
